WDS (Websight Directory System) is a piece of PHP software allowing you to run an Internet Link Directory in a similar fashion to the Open Directory Project. It is open source, version 1 being licensed under the GPL. Version 1 was specifically aimed at PHP4.

Plans are currently being made to rewrite it to PHP5, using the symfony framework. Because symfony is using the MIT license, I am currently reconsidering the WDS license.
